At the heart of the Clair DeGeorge Hockey Camp is the belief that hockey is about so much more than the game itself. It is about buildingconfidence, creating lasting relationships, and fostering a sense of belonging where every young athlete feels welcomed, valued, and supported. To truly live out that mission, we are committed to making camp accessible so that every player has the opportunity to experience the community, friendships, and personal growth that hockey can provide.
This year, thanks to the generosity of three incredible community partners, more young athletes were able to join us on the ice through camp scholarships. Their support helped remove barriers to participation and created opportunities for girls across Alaska to be part of a community where they could learn, grow, and belong.
Kuuk Water
Kuuk Water’s support is rooted in a passion for strengthening communities throughout Alaska. As a dedicated hockey dad and advocate for girls in sports, owner Joe Warren and their team believes in creating opportunities for young athletes both on and off the ice. Their investment in our scholarship program reflects a commitment to ensuring that more girls can experience the friendships, confidence, and lifelong lessons that come from being part of a team.

For Yvan Corbin, Alaska hockey has always been about more than the game. After his career with the Alaska Aces, he chose to build his life in Alaska and has continued to invest in the hockey community. Yvan was one of the most influential coaches and supporters in my own hockey journey, making it especially meaningful to have him now investing in the next generation of girls’ hockey. Through Top Shelf Realty, his generosity is helping more young athletes find confidence, connection, and a place to belong through our camp.

Founded by an Alaska-born former hockey player, Jordan Elkins, Innergy understands the lasting impact that sports can have on a young person’s life. Their support reflects a commitment to giving back to the community that helped shape their own journey while creating new opportunities for the next generation of Alaska athletes
